  Re-Engage & Re-Commit:

Your Membership Does Matter!

"Having all members engaged is vital to creating a healthy club environment where all members have the opportunity to learn and grow."

Sheila desires to initiate a "paradigm shift" in how we re-engage and re-commit our members.

By measuring and improving upon the quality and level of service within our clubs, Sheila believes that the membership will experience a dramatic shift toward our permanent transformation as a President's Distinguished District for years to come.

Sheila pledges that the concerns of our club members will always be first because:

 Your Membership Does Matter!

"A mantra encapsulates or fully describes a company mission statement in a succinct and memorable way."

As the Chair of the D44 2015 Spring Conference Committee, Sheila led a team of dynamic, innovative and dedicated Toastmasters to "Connect" with each other like never before!

The experience helped unveil the positive impact of servant leaders on the membership, versus the challenge of members serving leadership.  The driving force behind our District connecting in a positive, friendly environment necessary for the membership to learn and grow should be an atmosphere that places the needs of the membership first before anything we say or commit to doing.

We must "Remember the Member":

  • In our strategic planning
  • In our financial transparency
  • In how we charter and retain clubs
  • In our New Member Orientation
  • In our process of developing leaders
  • In our training
  • In how we treat each other with respect and compassion
  • In how we think of ourselves and our District.

"When you change the way you think, you will change the way that you feel."
